All-you-can-eat data is an alternative name for unlimited data, which was introduced by Three in 2010 when they launched “The One Plan”. However, Three stopped referring to all-you-can-eat data in 2019 and switched instead to using the term unlimited data. The two terms are still sometimes used interchangeably. Whichever term is used, you can rest assured that on Three you will get truly unlimited data with no usage limits or speed restrictions in the UK. Why choose Three? No usage limits As the name suggests, Unlimited data SIMs give you unlimited access to the internet on your mobile device. That means you’ll never run out of data to surf the web, browse social media and stream content. Unlimited data also means you’ll never have to deal with surprise charges in your bills.

Take a look around

The exception to this is in Go Roam Around the World destinations, where streaming is provided at standard definition, tethering isn’t included, and P2P and VPN might be slowed. Though you can avoid these restrictions by buying a Data Passport add-on. Unlimited data plans on Three

Unlimited Premium customers no longer have to worry about caps, though, as AT&T has removed that limitation from its most expensive plan. Verizon is able to slow data after 30GB are used by Unlimited Plus customers; speeds can slow whenever there's network congestion for the Unlimited Welcome plan. T-Mobile lets you use 100GB of data before throttling can begin, though if you opt for the more expensive Magenta Max plan, there's no cap on data usage at all. Three currently offer unlimited mobile broadband with the Three 4G MiFi device. It supports 4G speeds of up to 300Mbps, enables you to share internet with up to 32 devices at the same time, and has 300 hours of standby time.

There are no speed restrictions on Three’s unlimited plans, so you will always be able to enjoy the fastest available speeds. That is not always the case on other networks which in some cases limit speeds based on plan type or reduce speeds after a certain amount of data usage is reached. Data only SIM plansare for use in tablets, mobile Wi-Fi and home broadband devices. They are available with unlimited data and do not include minutes or texts. While you do technically get unlimited data on all of these plans, many of them will impose a restriction somewhere in the plan to limit you slightly. Unlimited tethering is great because it enables you to use your smartphone to share internet with any other devices over Wi-Fi, such as your laptop, tablet, or games console. Worldwide roaming
